Brendella, skirting the globe

Brendella was founded in 1936 by Nora and Joady Fogarty, Eighty-four years ago. Brendella began the manufacturing of skirts in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. They were determined to produce a well tailored, well fitted, well designed garment which offered good value to the customer.

Such was their success that women from many different countries chose to complete their wardrobes with a 'Brendella' skirt, prompting the slogan: 

"We Skirt The Globe" 

Eighty-fouryears and four generations later, Brendella is still committed to these same core values, which have stood the test of time, leading to the addition of trousers, shawls and blouses to our range over the years. 

From this we decided to open up an online shop to allow as many women as possible access to a high quality skirt. Through this website you can purchase a wide manner of former samples and out of season Brendella stock.
